Donovan Fuller has been studying trumpet for 18 years. He received his training in Jazz Performance from Humber College and Classical Performance from the University of Toronto. Donovan has studied privately with Don Johnson, formerly of the Toronto Symphony, James Spragg and Andrew McCandless, both currently with the Toronto Symphony. Donovan spends as much time in the recording studio and on movie sets as he does on stage. He has made recordings for various independent artists as well as the Canadian Brass.

Donovan held the position of Principal Trumpet of the Scarborough Philharmonic for two years. He freelances with ensembles such as "No Strings Attached" Brass Quintet, "Brass A Peal", The Niagara Brass Ensemble, The Royal Conservatory Orchestra, and The Toronto Wind Orchestra. In June of 2001 he won a position with the National Academy Orchestra led by well known conductor, Boris Brott. As well as ensemble work, Donovan has a very active solo career and can be seen playing in churches and at various events throughout Canada.
